Welcome to KAIST Undergraduate Admission for International Students!
1. Eligibility: International Applicants must meet all of the following requirements.

1) (Fall 2026 Intake) Applicants who have graduated or will graduate from high school by August 31st, 2026.

2) Applicants with Foreign Citizenship.
Korean citizens who hold dual citizenship are not eligible to apply as International Students.
Note: International applicant whose parents were born in Korea MUST read the instructions below.
International applicants of Korean origin MUST additionally satisfy one of the following two requirements:

Neither of the applicant's parents is a Korean citizen ; or
-
The applicant must have received the entire elementary, junior high, and high school education outside of Korea at a comparable and equivalent level of those provided in Korea. But in this case, international schools located in Korea are not acknowledged as foreign schools.
* Applicant of Korean origin should submit 1) the Certificate of the Facts Concerning the Entry & Exit issued by the Korean Immigration Office and 2) loss of Korean Nationality. These documents should have recently been issued.
2. Application Fee
Once the application fee is paid, an e-mail with instructions on how to submit recommendations will be automatically sent to the recommenders. Therefore, in order to allow recommenders sufficient time to prepare and submit their recommendations, applicants should complete the application fee payment in good time.
The application fee is USD 80. Payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer after completing the online application form. If there is any additional charges such as bank charges? applied within your transaction, it must be covered by the applicants. Please note that application fee is non-refundable.
<Important> Applicants can still modify their application within the application period, even after paying the application fee.
